As part of the national Days of architecture, the actors of distribution(broadcasting) and of promotion(class) of architecture in Pays-de-la-Loire, grouped(included) within Plan 5, propose a visit of construction site(work) in every department.
On every construction site(work), an "architect-draftsman" was invited to deliver his look on these key stages of the history(story) of project, transitional and ephemeral stages which reveal the process of construction. A pad of sketch, in limited edition, is free put back(handed) to the visitors of every operation.
In Loire-Atlantique, Tangui Robert was chosen by Plan 5 to testify, with the aid of his sketches, of the construction site(work) Polaris, its volumes, its colours, its heights and its space …
On October 14th, the ensa Nantes and the ardepa suggest visiting this construction site(work), with in hand this pad of drawing.
Conceived(Designed) by LAN, (so that Abinal&Ropars and Fernandez&Serres) as for Kaufman and broad, Polaris is a city piece, implanted on the edge of the Loire (arm of Madeleine) in the centre of the Island of Nantes. He(It) understands(includes) housing, the hotel management school Vatel, a coffee(café), a student residence, offices(desks), etc
LAN (Premises(Place) Architecture Network) worked on the opening of this ilôt, "his(her,its) porosity with the urban area, its capacity to be crossed". [Project associates] a character appropriate(peculiar) to every place, regarding volumetry (size, proportions) and of atmosphere (light, shade(shadow), materiality, perception(collection)). He(It) results from it a crossed approach(initiative) which establishes almost spontaneously the identity of these places and makes happen a large unit(common) and convivial public place, which crosses the whole site, connects buildings(ships) between them and plot of land with its environment.»
