Implanted in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, in the door of Ivry at the end of the XIXth century, the workshops(studios) of the factory Panhard et Levassor represent the last vestige of the automobile factories of Paris, the sites of Renault in Boulogne-Billancourt and of Citroën in Javel having disappeared. Between 2007 and 2013, this old(former) industrial site was entirely restructured, extended and redeployed to tertiary pole(centre) by filial AREP, interdisciplinary architectural studio office, of SNCF GARES ET CONNEXIONS. Opportunity(Occasion) to restore a second youth in this place steeped in history and to offer to the district of the equipments of closeness with social vocation, with insertion in foot of building of a day-nursery(crib) and of a day welcome(reception) for homeless person.
