The resort of Superdévoluy (Le Dévoluy), in the Hautes-Alpes, opened its doors in 1966\. It developed the following year around the 1st building "Le Bois d'Aurouze" including housing and all the necessary equipment for a stay at the assembly. Named at the time "Le Paquebot des Neiges", its construction extended from 1966 to 1972\. With the building "Les Issarts" built in its continuity between 1975 and 1977, this set has more than 1000 dwellings. The Bois d'Aurouze and Les Issarts are labeled since 2015 "Heritage of the twentieth century".
