This is the first museum entirely devoted to the thermal engine. It was created in Saumur in 1986 by the triple will of the former students of the Industrial School of Saumur, the City of Saumur and the Lycée Sadi Carnot . Its objective is to present and sustain old or contemporary internal combustion engines.
