The washhouse seems to have been built on the source of the brook of the Couture which slips between the slabs of the bottom. The washhouse, in red sandstone partly plastered with lime, is highlighted with tufa stones in the corners. Beautiful slate slabs border the inclined plane where the laundry was rubbed
Make wash houses live: workshop "paper" for young and old (within the limit of available places)
For two days, two animators Charlotte Maucourt and Jean-François Leroux offer an introductory workshop in paper making, with the addition of flowers or other to customize the leaf according to his desires. Then, the paper will be put under felt and extended so that it dries. The next day, everyone will be able to recover his work in the washhouse or on the ground propeller.
