Clément Hébert bietet eine Reihe von Dokumenten im Zusammenhang mit dem Haus UK-100: Familienfotos, institutionelle Archive, Korrespondenzen, Modelle, von 1932 bis 2022. UK für United Kingdom, 100 für die Anzahl der Teile, die den Bausatz dieser Häuser bilden, die von Großbritannien in Auftrag gegeben wurden und die sich in Städten aufstellen würden, um die Zivilisten der bombardierten Städte im Nordwesten Frankreichs umzusiedeln. Dieses provisorische, quadratische, moderne und weitgehend vergessene Wohnmodell entstand in den USA im Rahmen des Manhattan-Projekts. In idyllischen Vororten mit verhängnisvoller Last entwickelten Ingenieure, die in UK-100-ähnlichen Häusern untergebracht waren, die Atombombe. Hier schrieb Joan Gilliam 1946 für das Schultagebuch dieses Gedicht, das der Ausstellung ihren Namen gab:

Clément Hébert offers a collection of documents related to the UK-100 house: family photographs, institutional archives, correspondence, models, from 1932 to 2022. UK for United Kingdom, 100 for the number of pieces that make up the kit of these houses ordered by the United Kingdom and that would line up in cities to relocate civilians from the bombed cities of North-West France. This model of temporary housing, a square house, modern and largely forgotten, was born in the United States, as part of the Manhattan project. In idyllic suburbs with deadly charges, engineers housed in houses identical to the UK-100 developed the atomic bomb. It was there that Joan Gilliam wrote this poem for her school newspaper in 1946, which gives its name to the exhibition:

Clément Hébert propone un insieme di documenti relativi alla casa UK-100: fotografie di famiglia, archivi istituzionali, corrispondenze, modelli, dal 1932 al 2022. UK per United Kingdom, 100 per il numero di pezzi che compongono il kit di queste case ordinate dal Regno Unito e che si sarebbero allineati in città per trasferire i civili delle città bombardate del nord-ovest della Francia. Questo modello abitativo provvisorio, casa quadrata, moderna e ampiamente dimenticata è nato negli Stati Uniti, come parte del progetto Manhattan. Nei sobborghi idilliaci con un carico di morte, gli ingegneri alloggiati in case identiche al UK-100 hanno sviluppato la bomba atomica. È qui che Joan Gilliam scrisse nel 1946 per il giornale della sua scuola questa poesia che dà il nome alla mostra:

Clément Hébert propose un ensemble de documents relatifs à la maison UK-100 : photographies de famille, archives institutionnelles, correspondances, maquettes, de 1932 à 2022. UK pour United Kingdom, 100 pour le nombre de pièces qui compose le kit de ces maisons commandées par le Royaume-Uni et qui allaient s'aligner en cités pour reloger les civils des villes bombardées du Nord-Ouest de la France. Ce modèle d'habitat provisoire, maison carrée, moderne et largement oubliée a vu le jour aux États-Unis, dans le cadre du projet Manhattan. Dans des banlieues idylliques à la charge funeste, des ingénieurs logés dans des maisons identiques aux UK-100 ont mis au point la bombe atomique. C'est là que Joan Gilliam a écrit en 1946 pour le journal de son école ce poème qui donne son nom à l'exposition :

UK para United Kingdom, 100 para el número de piezas que componen el kit de estas casas encargadas por el Reino Unido y que se alinearían en ciudades para realojar a los civiles de las ciudades bombardeadas del noroeste de Francia. Este modelo de vivienda temporal, cuadrada, moderna y en gran parte olvidada, surgió en los Estados Unidos como parte del Proyecto Manhattan. En los idílicos suburbios de la funesta carga, los ingenieros alojados en casas idénticas a las UK-100 han desarrollado la bomba atómica. Fue allí donde Joan Gilliam escribió en 1946 para el diario de su escuela este poema que da nombre a la exposición:
