Marie-Ella Stellefeld explains: "My work always starts from matter, the idea that imposes itself on me must be in complete agreement with a drawing or on the contrary a charge that corresponds to me. The other axis that feeds my creativity is the recovery of materials or even objects that I include in my paintings or that are the starting point. Rusty objects, forgotten, remnants of our past lives they find their place alongside the millennial marbles and shards of gold." We invited this artist to the kingdom of Chomo, an inspiring environment rich in reclaimed materials in dialogue with the nature of the Fontainebleu forest. You will create your own object based on the artist’s instructions and the materials on site.

The Village d'Art Préludien is the domain of the artist Roger Chomeaux dit Chomo (1907-1999), where he lived and created alone, for more than 40 years. It consists of its own house and three spontaneous architectures: the Refuge, the Church of the Poor, and the Sanctuary of the Burnt Woods. The Association of Friends of Chomo was created with the aim of preserving these unclassifiable works and making them known to the public.

Access: The Village d'Art Préludien is only accessible during events organized by the association. The site is accessible by car and bike, no parking on site (private carpooling from Acheres la Foret).
