Reception of the public on the site of the ruins of the former Abbey at 10h and 14h followed by a guided tour of it.
Then, Wander - discover the historical monuments that constitute the heritage of the town of Saint-Sulpice the forest.

  • Heritage Visit of the Ruins of the Abbey of Notre-Dame-Du-Nid-Au-Merle. In the style of its mother house "Fontevraud Abbey", it was a place of retreat for the 41 abbesses, including the 1st daughter of the King of England Etienne de Blois, granddaughter of William the Conqueror.
  • Taking the paved path, you will also discover the Moulin banal (late 14th - early 15th century), the Chapelle Notre-Dame-sur-l'eau (12th - 15th century),
  • The parish church (late twelfth - early thirteenth) and the legend of The Virgin with the Child (statuette dating around 1500).
  • The heart of the village with the Halle Cohue (17th – 18th century limit), the Prison with its audience of justice (17th century), the Auberge de l'Ecu de France (1632),
