Dating from the second half of the fifteenth century, the church is a fine example of a building built to the glory of the Rohan family, who once claimed to be descended from Saint Mériadec.
Inside, do not miss the choir’s wall paintings, made at the turn of the 16th century (Jessé’s tree, Passion of Christ), as well as a beautiful antique furniture, most of which is protected as historical monuments.

According to legend, Saint-Mériadec collected itself in solitude around 650 there, before becoming bishop of Vannes(gates, cracks). A called bell "Hat(Cap) of Saint-Mériadec", dated the 10th - 12th centuries, is always kept(preserved) by the municipality. Put on the head of the deaf persons, she(it) was supposed to bring their healing. In the chorus(choir), wall paintings(paints) represent the life of the saint, arranged on two registers and put together by four.
