MuMa Musée d'art moderne André Malraux 2016

What is the relationship of man to the planet today? In Greek antiquity, the Earth was deified under the names of Gê or Gaia. For more than a century, it has been battered by the anthropocene era in which we live: the time when human activity has become the dominant geological constraint. Mutations displace balances, disturb ecosystems and endanger life. For this solo, Gaël Sesboüé drew on contemporary scientific and political reflections in order to give form and strength to a living, sound and moving sculpture. He develops a dance that is both powerful and fragile, inviting visitors to take a new look at the way we live in the world.
Perfomance not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
