Discovery of Art Nouveau at Maison Lamourelle

The team of our Heritage Centre offers you workshops to discover Art Nouveau in Carcassonne. These workshops will take place in two phases:

Visit of the Maison Lamourelle: This remarkable Art Nouveau architectural building will serve as an illustration for the discovery of the principles guiding this artistic period.
Atelier Gravure: Following the visit, the groups will be invited to an engraving workshop allowing them to reproduce art nouveau motifs and discover the associated techniques.

The Centre International de Séjour Lamourelle is located on the edge of the Canal du Midi, opposite the bastide, in a completely restored art nouveau building to which was added a new building for accommodation.
