About the venue
Broglie Square is the market place! Former horse market place, it hosts the Wednesday and Friday market, but especially the Christkindelsmärik, that is to say the Christmas market! Around Place Broglie, you can admire an Art Nouveau building, the town hall, the military governor’s hotel, but also the opera house. Namely, it is in one of the houses bordering this square that Rouget de l'Isle composed La Marseillaise. (source: visitstrasbourg.fr)
