A major work by Jean Dubuffet, Closerie Falbala was listed as a historic monument in November 1998. It is located on a plot close to the artist’s former sculpture workshops. The Closerie Falbala (built between 1970 and 1973 in concrete and epoxy resin, of 1,610 m²) simulates a walled garden, surrounds the Villa Falbala, a window-less residence designed by Jean Dubuffet to house the Logological Office (1967-69) "chamber of philosophical exercise" of the artist, high place of the mind.
