Located on the Place du Marché, these four works by Guillaume Bottazzi were realized in June 2020.
These four works by artist Guillaume Bottazzi are to be discovered during the European Heritage Days on 19 September from 10 am to 4.30 pm.
They are located in the heart of the city of Vaujours, on the market square. Each work, exceptionally refined, is characteristic of the artist’s workmanship. These creations plunge us into the fantastic and strange universe of the artist.
Guillaume Bottazzi, committed to the ecosystem, creates his works using enamels. Enamel is a powdered material composed of different minerals, such as silica, feldspar, kaolin, metal oxides, titanium, copper carbonate, cobalt, iron oxide, manganese, tin…
Guillaume Bottazzi had to translate his sketches into real dimensions before transposing them onto the glass. The pigments are then deposited with a suspended brush in a volatile oil. It is at the tempering of the glass that the fusion with the enamels takes place.
The public is invited to travel and dream with the work. She accompanies the passerby in his daily life; he will reinvent it according to his mood, the seasons, and the time he observes it. These unique creations are a matter of sensitivity. They are designed to inhabit a specific place of frequentation.
