The City of Abbeville acquired in 2019, with the support of the association of the Friends of the Boucher Museum of Perthes and the Regional Museum Acquisition Fund (State/ Region), a painting by Jules-Émile Zingg (1882-1942) representing the Collegiate Church of Saint-Vulfran in 1926.
It is around this painting that the exhibition develops, which presents works and documents dealing with the emblematic building of the city before and after the bombings of 1940.
It is also the occasion to show for the first time the models of the stained glass windows made by William Einstein.

Arisen from the fusion(merger) of two institutions abbevilloises of XIXe S., the collections of the museum are marked with the encyclopaedic spirit of time(period) and concern numerous domains therefore. The natural history reminds us the closeness of the Somme Bay, recently entered in the circle of the most beautiful bays(berries) of world. The devolved section in Fine Arts conjugates paintings(paints) and sculptures of the XVth century in XIXe S.
