The Heritage Days are an opportunity to do a complete tour of Ardelaine at a more than attractive price since … it’s free! On Saturday and Sunday, we propose you the discovery of our 3 visit routes: – At 11am, our production workshops, that is to say follow the steps of the wool sector with us, our way of working, our machines, our governance … – At 2:30 pm, the millennial story of wool, how we domesticated sheep and learned how to turn their wool into a sweater, with lots of carding, spinning, weaving demonstrations … – At 4pm, the arrival of the first machines in textile history (which we will start!), the invention of the notion of «work», the genius of the inventors and a superb impeller with troughs completely restored. The craziest will be able to choose to make the 3 visits to follow, the less craziest just 2 visits, it is already quite good and we will accept even those who wish to make only one visit!
