Construction of a church before the creation of the commune.

The construction of the church began on May 23, 1853 and was operational on December 8, 1854. The first parish priest, Abbé Delorme, was installed on August 19, 1855 and the transformation into a parish was formalized by imperial decree of December 31, 1858. The various works undertaken from 1853 to 1907; enlargement, woodwork, decoration, stained glass windows, exterior plaster, etc.. This was covered by numerous private donations from the residents of the municipality.
