Visit of the archaeological excavation of Moingt
With its 2000 m2, the excavation that is currently taking place at the Rue du Repos in Montbrison-Moingt is the largest window ever opened on the ancient agglomeration of Aquae Segetae.
Near the thermal baths of Sainte-Eugénie, a whole section of the Gallo-Roman city is emerging, before making room for a new gendarmerie.
The excavation ending on October 16, these days are therefore an exceptional opportunity to discover this rich past, which will be presented to you by the archaeologists of Archeodunum at work on the spot.
Themed stands will complete the visit: building materials, ceramics.
