© « Hauteville House », de F. Duval et T. Gioux - Éditions Delcourt, 2006-2019

In collaboration with the scriptwriter of comic strips Fred Duval and other artists having participated in the success of the BOULEVARD Hauteville House, intrigue of which takes place under the Second Empire, exhibition(exposure) establishes a dialogue in mirror between the collections of the museum representing Norman landscapes (drawings realised by Victor Hugo and diverse engravings) and boards of the BOULEVARD.
What are the effects of the uchronie (rewriting of History(Story) from the modification of a past event) on landscape?
Were the artists of the XIXth century always faithful to reality themselves?
An invitation to reflexion on history(story) and its report(relationship) in imagination, to discover until October 26th, 2019.
