The university library of the University Paris 8, built in 1998 by the architect Pierre Riboulet and equipped by the designer Albert Giles-Cohen, is "a building-bridge(ship-bridge,building-deck,ship-deck) populated with birds - books(pounds)". She hits in front wall(pediment) of the anagrammes of Oulipo and proposes to her 23 000 students a surface of 15000 m ², 400 000 books(pounds) and a state-of-the-art digital material(equipment). We suggest you discovering her, with the public spaces and the reserves, on Saturday, September 21st from 11 h till 17 h. You will be able also to see current(in class) exhibitions(exposures), discover the beehives of the University and taste(savour) some local honey.
