The Well of Seat(Siege), in the centre of the place(square) Darche de Longwy, fortified city by Vauban, was built from 1679 till 1690\. It was the only well intended(designed) for the civilians. Of a depth about 60 metres, he(it) was activated by a Ferris wheel inside which walked(worked) two men(people).
Today, the Well of Seat(Siege) shelters the Tourist office of the Country of Longwy which spreads(broadcasts) a wide documentation on the tourist sites of the region.
