The church of 1186, much too small for the 690 inhabitants of the time and despite numerous repairs, is a ruin in the nineteenth century. In 1862-1865, it was rebuilt in ashlar stone at the same place, in larger by the architect Demoget. Its length is 35 meters and its width 16 meters, inside, with two rows of columns decorated with carved capitals; the vault is ogival; the rounded ribs are supported by columns of carved capitals. The old cornice in Romanesque billets is preserved on part of the walls. The bell tower, a tall rectangular tower with a slate roof, is surmounted by a lantern. Under the vast porch are three stone statues of the ancient church, representing St Peter, a Virgin Mother and St Clare of Assisi. Dating back to the Gothic period, the tympanum, built above the south gate, is made up of two dragons surrounding the Cross.
