exhibition(exposure) explores, since the environment(middle) of the XVIIIth century, the spectacular urban development of Nice, demonstrating the power of a phenomenon of civilisation: tourism. This big(great) hedonistic invention of modern times gave birth(rise) to a peculiar city, witness(baton) of the evolution of cosmopolitan tourist practices, throughout the XIXth and XXth centuries.
In that capacity, Nice is applicating in a registration(inscription) on the List of the world heritage today. An interactive digital presentation(display) of the applicating urban complex, will be at arrangement(disposal) of the visitors, exclusively during Heritage Days.
