A house deprived in the unpublished wall paintings(paints) (XIVTH - XVITH).
The castle of Belvès gathers(collects). Arts and identities. Architecture, sculpture but also wall painting, thanks to the recent discoveries which brought exceptional programmes to light (historic stage(scene), ideal garden and group of Nine Valiant knights) influenced by Italian art. It is also men's history(men's story,people history,people story), those who made build then prettify the monument after the war of Hundred Years, to update it and to adorn its walls of historic and legendary heroin; it is still the history(story) of the travelling painters, of France and besides, who worked in this house and passed on(transmitted) knowledges of their time(period).
The castle of Belvès also shares. A common(shared) heritage which, across ages and similarities, joins territories and their inhabitants. Gothic art, courteous(friendly) culture but also Italian Renaissance beam beyond borders, what testifies the decoration(set) of the belvésoise building. In the art of division(sharing), count, finally, efforts of conservation and of promotion(valuation) of the historic good(property) deprived to make it known and pass(transmit) it on.
After the visit of the tower, of the big(great) room and of the painted rooms(parts,plays) of splendour, the route(course) ends by a walk in the garden, in Tuscan speeds(looks), with a fantastic view over the valley of Nauze.
