Mansion of the governor of province under Henry IV then residence of the ticket collector of sizes in the XVIIIth century, this named(appointed) building(ship) The Inn possesses old(former) architectural elements (windows of the XVth century) although deeply altered in the XVIIth and XVIIIth centuries, in particular by the construction of a wing looking onto the street. Having known numerous activities(occupations) in the XIXth century and in the XXth centuries, he(it) is bought by the city which commits(hires) in 2000 a general rehabilitation according to a project led by the architect of Bordeaux Bertrand Nivelle. The Centre of Interpretation(Performance) of Architecture and of Heritage, followed by a complete restructuring of the garden led by the service Green areas of the city is so born. He receives direction(management) of cultural affairs, service(department) city art and history(story) and cultural mediation and the preservation of museums today.
