Near Dijon exists one of the biggest(greatest) caves misread(underestimated) from the north of France, the Cave of Neuvon.
This cave of more than 23 km, real jewels of geology, opens on the municipality of Plombières-lès-Dijon. Discovered in 1970s, it makes again the object of all attentions since the opening in 2012 of a new access returning its easier access for speleologists(cavings,speleologies). This is the way(That's how) other discoveries are made, especially a paleontological deposit(field) of big(great) importance. Indeed shortly after its reopening, remains of bear and of lions of caverns are discovered as well as very important quantity of scratches of bear dating more than one hundred thousand years.
This large underground network is always under way of exploration and it is not to doubt that other discoveries will be realised in the coming years.
The heart of exhibition(exposure) will concern the paleontological discoveries made on this site by the Departmental Committee of Speleology of Côte-d'Or in collaboration with the University of Bourgogne. Conferences livened up(led) by distinguished specialists of the University of Bourgogne will take place for these two days of exhibitions(exposures).
