Meeting with Jean Sgard around his book "The paths(ways) of the Chartreuse. From saint Bruno to Balzac. "PUG
For the ten centuries, there are many people who went up and down the sinuous roads of Chartreuse: pilgrims, travellers, artists, builders(manufacturers) of roads, woodcutters, farmers...
Jean Sgard invites us in a literary walk, over time, on both historic roads of Chartreuse: the one utilitarian and artful(industrious), other one tourist. He(It) makes us bare secrets of this massif, through the ruddy characters: writers (Balzac, Rousseau, Chateaubriand), painters, but also highwaymen, as Chuck, smuggler righter of wrongs of the poor people, and of course workers, inhabitants, small populates Chartreuse.
