In post-war France, mass housing flourishes to relocate the population. Once considered as a symbol of modernity, these are gradually being questioned. In the 1970s, a wave of renewal of collective housing thus emerged, focused on innovation. This gives birth to an architecture full of originality like the pyramids of the Castle district.

Dans la France d’après-guerre, les logements de masse fleurissent pour reloger la population. Considérés un temps comme symbole de modernité, ceux-ci sont progressivement remis en question. Dans les années 1970, une vague de renouvellement des logements collectifs voit ainsi le jour, axée sur l’innovation. Cela donne naissance à une architecture pleine d’originalité comme les pyramides du quartier Château.
