[Conference] What are the changes in how to eat tomorrow?
A conference with Rozenn Ravallec, professor at the University of Lille
What if the coming food transition was an incredible source of opportunities?
In the face of climate issues, resource scarcity, health issues, and changing lifestyles, our diet is set to change. But what will tomorrow’s plate look like? What changes are already underway? And how to reconcile pleasure, accessibility, innovation and sustainability?
This conference invites you to decipher the major trends shaping tomorrow’s food. She will also present how scientific research helps to anticipate and enrich this evolution, particularly here in the Hauts-de-France. A meeting to better understand the ongoing changes, exchange and imagine solutions that will build our food future.
And who knows, maybe even taste new foods?
Speaker
This conference will be given by Rozenn Ravallec, professor at the University of Lille and Director of the Joint Cross-border Research Unit (UMRt) BioEcoAgro. She coordinates research programs and industrial partnerships on the sustainable processing of regional biomass (chicory, algae...), the production and characterization of high value-added molecules or the impact of digested proteins and ingredients on health.
Rozenn Ravallec was also Ambassador of the 2026 Fête de la science for Hauts-de-France.
