The APC – Association for the Promotion of ecoChiftiness, in the framework of its Zero Waste theme, offers you a series of sewing workshops led by the association’s volunteer and expert seamstresses.
This training consists of 4 workshops, from September to December, and is aimed at beginners and false beginners.
The goal? Accompanying you in learning the basic techniques of sewing, on the sewing machine and by hand, to allow you to make yourself useful objects for everyday life and above all learn to repair/reuse rather than throw away !
📅 4 workshops from September to December
The workshops will take place on Saturday afternoons, from 14h to 16h, at the Nelson Mandela House, 89 chaussée de l'Hôtel de Ville.
- Saturday, September 26 – 🧵 Workshop 1: Discovery and handling of the sewing machine / Making a tote bag * Saturday, October 17 – 🪡 Workshop 2: Repairing sewing Learning techniques useful in everyday life / sew on a button, create a hem, darn a sock, apply metal buttons, but also make napkins and washable wipes. * Saturday, November 14 – 🎀 Workshop 3: Making everyday accessories / A project to be defined with the group among different proposals: flat cap, bicycle seat protection, etc. Saturday, December 5th – 🎄 Workshop 4: Small books and Christmas gifts / Creation, according to the wishes of the group, of small objects such as a basket, a planter, a zipper pouch, etc.
🧰 Hardware
The necessary equipment will be provided by the association. A sewing machine can also be lent to you.
You can, if you wish, come with your own sewing machine and your fabrics. Please specify this when registering.

L’APC, dans le cadre de sa thématique Zéro Déchet, vous propose une série d’ateliers de couture animés par les couturières bénévoles et expertes de l’association.

L’APC – Association pour la Promotion de l’écoCitoyenneté, dans le cadre de sa thématique Zéro Déchet, vous propose une série d’ateliers de couture animés par les couturières bénévoles et expertes de l’association.
Cette formation se compose de 4 ateliers, de septembre à décembre, et s’adresse aux débutants et faux débutants.
L’objectif ? Vous accompagner dans l’apprentissage des techniques de base de la couture, à la machine à coudre et à la main, afin de vous permettre de fabriquer vous-même des objets utiles au quotidien et surtout d’apprendre à réparer/réutiliser plutôt que jeter !
📅 4 ateliers de septembre à décembre
Les ateliers auront lieu les samedis après-midi, de 14h à 16h, à la Maison Nelson Mandela, 89 chaussée de l’Hôtel de Ville.
* Samedi 26 septembre – 🧵 Atelier 1 : Découverte et prise en main de la machine à coudre
/ Réalisation d’un tote bag
* Samedi 17 octobre – 🪡 Atelier 2 : Couture réparatrice
Apprentissage de techniques utiles au quotidien / recoudre un bouton, réaliser un ourlet, repriser une chaussette, poser des pressions métalliques, mais aussi confectionner des serviettes de table et des lingettes lavables.
* Samedi 14 novembre – 🎀 Atelier 3 : Confection d’accessoires du quotidien
/ Un ouvrage à définir avec le groupe parmi différentes propositions : charlotte à plat, protection de selle de vélo, etc.
* Samedi 5 décembre – 🎄 Atelier 4 : Petits ouvrages et cadeaux de Noël
/ Réalisation, selon les envies du groupe, de petits objets tels qu’une panière, un cache-pot, une trousse à fermeture éclair, etc.
🧰 Matériel
Le matériel nécessaire sera fourni par l’association. Une machine à coudre pourra également vous être prêtée.
Vous pouvez, si vous le souhaitez, venir avec votre propre machine à coudre et vos tissus. Merci de le préciser lors de votre inscription.

Pour participer aux ateliers, il est nécessaire d’être adhérent·e de l’APC. Si vous ne l’êtes pas encore, vous pouvez adhérer au moment de votre inscription.

De APC biedt, als onderdeel van het thema "zero waste", een reeks naaiworkshops aan onder leiding van de vrijwillige naaisters en deskundigen van de vereniging.

De APC – Association for the Promotion of Eco-Citizenship biedt, als onderdeel van het thema 'zero waste', een reeks naaiworkshops aan onder leiding van vrijwillige naaisters en deskundigen van de vereniging.
Deze training bestaat uit 4 workshops, van september tot december, en is gericht op beginners en valse beginners.
Het doel? Begeleidt u bij het leren van de basistechnieken van naaien, met de naaimachine en met de hand, zodat u dat kunt maak jezelf nuttige alledaagse voorwerpen en leer vooral te repareren/hergebruiken in plaats van weg te gooien !
📅 4 workshops van september tot december
De workshops vinden plaats op zaterdagmiddag, van 14 tot 16 uur, in het Nelson Mandela House, 89 Chaussée de l'Hotel de Ville.
- Zaterdag 26 september – 🧵 Werkplaats 1: Ontdekking en hantering van de naaimachine / Realisatie van een draagtas * Zaterdag 17 oktober – 🪡 Workshop 2: Repareren naaien leren dagelijks nuttige technieken / naai een knoop, maak een zoom, wraak een sok, pas metalen druk toe, maar maak ook servetten en wasbare doekjes. * Zaterdag 14 november – 🎀 Werkplaats 3: Dagelijkse accessoires maken / Een werk dat met de groep moet worden gedefinieerd onder verschillende voorstellen: Platte charlotte, bescherming van fietszadel, enz. * Zaterdag 5 december – 🎄 Workshop 4: Kleine boeken en kerstcadeaus / Realisatie, volgens de wensen van de groep, kleine voorwerpen zoals een mand, een pot cover, een rits kit, enz.
🧰 Hardware
De benodigde apparatuur wordt geleverd door de vereniging. U kunt ook een naaimachine lenen.
U kunt desgewenst met uw eigen naaimachine en stoffen komen. Geef dit op tijdens de registratie.
