Tereza, 77, has spent her entire life in a small industrial town in the Amazon, until the day she receives an order from the government to move to a “senior colony”: an isolated place where the elderly will “enjoy” their final years. But Tereza refuses to accept this imposed fate. She then embarks on a clandestine journey through the rivers of the Amazon to fulfill one last dream. The adventure is woven from encounters, freedom, and imagination, taking the form of a powerful feminist revenge: an elderly heroine proudly leads the way toward emancipation.
Enveloped in colorful and poetic cinematography, this dystopian film with fantastical undertones flirts so closely with realism that it becomes dizzying… Yet all possibilities lie at the end of the journey.

Tereza, 77 ans, a passé toute sa vie dans une petite ville industrielle d’Amazonie, jusqu’au jour où elle reçoit l’ordre du gouvernement de s’installer dans une “colonie pour seniors” : un lieu isolé où les personnes âgées “ profiteront ” de leurs dernières années. Mais Tereza refuse de se résoudre à ce destin imposé. Elle entreprend alors un voyage clandestin à travers les rivières de l’Amazonie pour exaucer un dernier rêve. L’aventure se construit de rencontres, de liberté et d’imagination, sous la forme d’une revanche féministe puissante : une héroïne âgée montre fièrement la voie de l’émancipation.
Enveloppé dans une photographie colorée et poétique, un film dystopique, aux allures fantastiques, qui flirte tant avec le réalisme qu’il confère au vertige…Tous les possibles sont cependant au bout du chemin.
