In this "Rendezvous for reflection and action", we look at the issue of care and repair. All over the world, indigenous peoples are managing their environment through an ethic of care and a culture of reparation. As such, they contribute to the achievement of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
With the Compagnie Sans N, we invite you to participate in the process of creating an artistic act that puts indigenous voices on stage as part of the "Climate Change Theatre Action". This event is part of a series of readings and performances of short plays on climate change that will take place in several institutions around the world by the end of 2021.
During these two disconcerting creative vignettes, visual artist Cyril Pyrrhos, actress Hanaa Bouab and director Marie Lecocq invite you to take part in their reflection on the notions of care and repair. Thus, in the form of a work in progress, the artists offer you an original experience, where you will not only have an insight into the process of creating a play, but also be able to exchange ideas directly with them.
The final play will be performed on the occasion of the Museum Night in May 2022.
This artistic performance will take an unusual form in different locations of the exhibition Environmental Injustice - Indigenous Alternatives...it's up to you to go and meet them!
This event will be held in French. It takes place on the first Sunday of the month and is therefore free of charge and requires no prior registration.
Speakers:
Marie Lecocq: Director of the Compagnie sans N
Hanaa Bouab: Actor
Cyril Pyrrhos: Visual artist
