WEBINAR - Information sessions on the ERC Synergy grant call 2022

As part of the ERC-UPSaclay support, two sessions for candidates from the Université Paris-Saclay perimeter (and Institut Polytechnique de Paris) wishing to apply to the ERC Synergy Grants 2022 call (which will be open on July 15th 2021) are organised on June 15 & 16 2021.
These sessions will be composed of two phases:
A general introduction of the ERC Synergy Gant 2022 : June 15th (9.00am - 11.30am). The objective of this session will be to provide an overview of the evaluation criteria, submission process, and ERC panels.There will also be a round-table discussion (11:30am - 1:00pm), in which experts, laureates and European Affairs Officers will participate. This will be an opportunity for you to benefit from advice from different stakeholders and to ask any questions you may have.
Advices on how to write a proposal will be given during a webinar on June 16th (9.00am - 11.30am). The aim of this webinar will be to provide writing guidelines and best practices to prepare and optimize your grant application: Parts B1 and B2. A time for questions and answers will be set at the end of the session.
The final programme will be sent to all registered participants a few days before the session.
You will also be able to benefit from a one-hour individual interview with one of our experts about your project idea. The interviews will take place on June 28th and June 29th. After registering, we will get back to you with the details of the interview. Due to the current context, all interviews will be conducted by videoconference. Please indicate in the "comments" part of the form if you have any particular availability during this period (morning, afternoon,...)
Please note: if you are not available on June 28th or 29th, you will be able to benefit from a session via Skype at a later date. Please make sure to indicate this on the registration form.
Registration is free but mandatory. Please note that the webinar as well as the individual interviews are reserved for researchers and teacher-researchers within the perimeter of the Université Paris-Saclay (as well as the Institut Polytechnique de Paris).
Please note: due to the situation related to COVID-19, the sessions will be held as a webinar. We will send the final program and the link to connect online to all registrants a few days before the session.

Dans le cadre de l'accompagnement ERC-UPSaclay, deux sessions à destination des candidats du périmètre de l'Université Paris-Saclay (et de l'Institut Polytechnique de Paris) souhaitant postuler à l’appel ERC Synergy Grants 2022 (qui ouvrira le 15 juillet 2021) est organisée les 15 et 16 juin 2021.
Ces sessions seront composées comme suit :
Une présentation générale de l'appel ERC Synergy Grant 2022 : le 15 juin (de 9h00-11h30). L’objectif de cette session sera de présenter les critères d'évaluation, la procédure de soumission ainsi que les panels de la classification de l'ERC. Se tiendra également une table-ronde (de 11h30-13h) , à laquelle des experts, lauréats et chargés d’affaires Europe participeront. Ce moment d’échanges sera l’occasion pour vous de bénéficier de conseils de la part de différents acteurs, et de poser toutes vos questions.
Des conseils sur la rédaction d’une proposition lors d'un webinaire qui aura lieu le 16 juin (de 9h00-11h30). Ce webinaire aura pour objectif d'apporter des conseils et les meilleures pratiques pour préparer et optimiser votre candidature : parties B1 et B2. Un temps de questions/réponses est également prévu en fin de session.
Vous pourrez également bénéficier d’un entretien individuel d’une heure avec un de nos experts autour de votre idée de projet. Les entretiens auront lieu le 28 et 29 juin (ou à des dates ultérieures) et se feront par visioconférence. Merci d'indiquer dans la partie "commentaires" du formulaire si vous avez des disponibilités particulières pour le jour choisi (matin, après-midi,...).
A noter : si vous n’êtes pas disponiblele 28 et 29 juin, vous pourrez bénéficier d’une session par Skype à une date ultérieure. Veillez à bien l’indiquer dans le formulaire d’inscription.
L’inscription est gratuite mais obligatoire, dans la limite des places disponibles. Attention, le webinaire ainsi que les entretiens individuels sont réservés aux chercheurs et enseignants-chercheurs faisant partie du périmètre de l'Université Paris-Saclay (ainsi que de l'Institut Polytechnique de Paris).
A noter : en raison de la situation liée au COVID-19, toutes les sessions se dérouleront en webinaire. Nous transmettrons le programme définitif ainsi que le lien pour vous connecter en ligne à l’ensemble des inscrits quelques jours avant la session.
