Al Sirah Al Hilaliyyah is a theatrical and musical celebration of the great Arabic oral epic: that of the Banī Hilāl tribe, and more particularly the story of Abu Zayd al-Hilali, a rejected child who became a hero. This project is inspired by the Syrian version (ash-Shāmieh) of the epic, the documentation work of researcher Abdel Rahman Al-Abnoudi, and recordings of the two great poets of Upper Egypt, Jaber Abou Hassan and Sayed Al-Dawi.
Based on the great Syrian version (ash-shāmiyyah) of the epic of the Bani Hilal, on the research works of Abdel Rahman Al-Abnoudi, on the recordings of the two great poets of Upper Egypt Jaber Abu Hassan and Sayed Al-Dawi, as well as on the stories of our grandmothers.
In Arabic, double surtitling in Arabic and French.

Al Sirah Al Hilaliyyah è una celebrazione teatrale e musicale della grande epopea orale araba: quella della tribù Banī Hilāl, e più in particolare la storia di Abu Zayd al-Hilali, un bambino emarginato diventato eroe. Questo progetto si ispira alla versione siriana (ash-Shāmieh) dell'epopea, ai lavori di documentazione del ricercatore Abdel Rahman Al-Abnoudi e alle registrazioni dei due grandi poeti dell'Alto Egitto, Jaber Abou Hassan e Sayed Al-Dawi.
Basato sulla grande versione siriana (ash-shāmiyyah) dell'epopea dei Bani Hilal, sulle ricerche di Abdel Rahman Al-Abnoudi, sulle registrazioni dei due grandi poeti dell'Alto Egitto Jaber Abu Hassan e Sayed Al-Dawi, nonché sui racconti delle nostre nonne.
