Tom Sawyer, a young boy brimming with imagination, dreams only of freedom. Every day, he invents a thousand pranks and adventures that make him as annoying as he is endearing. But one day, the game stops: Tom is confronted with real danger. Will he have the courage to face it? This coming-of-age novel, published in the United States at the end of the 19th century, was an immediate success. Marie Tomas invites us to rediscover this true folk legend through a production full of fantasy and emotion.

Tom Sawyer, jeune garçon débordant d’imagination, ne rêve que de liberté. Chaque jour, il invente mille farces et aventures qui le rendent aussi agaçant qu’attachant. Mais un jour, le jeu s’arrête : Tom est confronté à un véritable danger. Aura-t-il le courage de l’affronter ? Ce roman d’apprentissage, publié aux Etats-Unis à la fin du XIXe siècle a connu un succès immédiat. Marie Tomas nous invite à redécouvrir ce véritable mythe populaire à travers une mise en scène pleine de fantaisie et d’émotion.
