The City of Stained Glass
The City of Stained Glass is located in Troyes, in the heart of the Aube in Champagne, European land of stained glass. It offers a journey through the heart of the stained glass windows, from the Middle Ages to the present day through a permanent exhibition with renewed works, as well as temporary exhibitions. Opened in December 2022 by the Département de l'Aube, the Cité du Vitrail is located in the Hôtel-Dieu-le-Comte, a remarkable historical setting that also houses an apothecary.
On the occasion of the European Night of Museums, the Cité du Vitrail invites Mylène Billand for 4 exceptional performances of her puppet show in stained glass: the Widow and the Knight. A discovery for the whole family!
