Entdecken Sie die Ausstellung 40 Jahre Archäozoologie im Rahmen einer Führung mit Jean-Christophe Castel, Archäozoologe am Naturhistorischen Museum in Genf, und Mila Musy, Museologin und Mitorganisatorin der Ausstellung.
Anlässlich des 40-jährigen Bestehens des Archäozoologie-Labors des Museums will diese kleine Ausstellung erklären, wozu diese Disziplin dient, die zur Archäologie gehört, sich aber auf Tiere, ihre Knochen und das, was die Menschen daraus gemacht haben, konzentriert. Anhand von Überresten, die teilweise Jahrtausende alt sind, kann man so herausfinden, wie sich unsere Vorfahren ernährten und kleideten, welche wirtschaftlichen Motive sie hatten und in welcher Umgebung sie lebten.

Come and discover the exhibition 40 years of archaeozoology through a guided tour by Jean-Christophe Castel, archaeozoologist at the Natural History Museum of Geneva and Mila Musy, museologist and co-organizer of the exhibition.
On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the archaeozoology laboratory of the Museum, this small exhibition proposes to explain the purpose of this discipline which is part of archaeology but focuses on animals, their bones and what humans have done with them. Thanks to relics that are sometimes several millennia old, we will be able to discover how our ancestors ate, dressed, what their economic motivations were and in what environments they lived.

Venez découvrir l’exposition 40 ans d'archéozoologie à travers une visite guidée par Jean-Christophe Castel, archéozoologue au Muséum d'histoire naturelle de Genève et Mila Musy, muséologue et co-organisatrice de l'exposition.
A l'occasion des 40 ans du laboratoire d'archéozoologie du Muséum, cette petite exposition propose d'expliquer à quoi sert cette discipline qui fait partie de l'archéologie mais se concentre sur les animaux, leurs os et ce que les humains en ont fait. Grâce à des vestiges parfois vieux de plusieurs millénaires on pourra ainsi découvrir comment nos ancêtres se nourrissaient, s'habillaient, quelles étaient leurs motivations économiques et dans quels environnements ils vivaient.
