«Last Stop Coney Island; The Life and Photography of Harold Feinstein» ist ein Dokumentarfilm, der die Arbeit und das fotografische Erbe von Harold Feinstein (1931-2015) erforscht. Andy Dunn
Andy Dunn ist ein Dokumentarfilmregisseur mit Sitz in London. Er begann seine Karriere in der Musikabteilung der BBC mit der Produktion und Produktion von Sendungen über Elton John, Seasick Steve und Damon Albarn sowie historischen Serien über Folk, Punk und Country. Andy öffnete sich dann anderen Themen mit Filmen über Architektur, Design, visuelle Kunst und Reisen. Als begeisterter Fotograf kümmert er sich häufig um die Kinematographie seiner Filme. Es ist kein Zufall, dass seine erste unabhängige Dokumentation «Last Stop Coney Island; The Life and Photography of Harold Feinstein» die Geschichte eines Fotografen erzählt. Heute produziert Andy Dunn Filme für die großen britischen Sender (BBC, ITV und Sky).

Harold Feinstein (1931-2015) konnte sich nicht auf eine Serie reduzieren. Sechzig Jahre lang kehrt der Fotograf regelmäßig zu seinem Lieblingsthema zurück: Coney Island. «Last Stop Coney Island; The Life and Photography of Harold Feinstein» is a documentary film that explores the work and photographic heritage of Harold Feinstein (1931-2015). It is the portrait of a sensitive artist who enjoyed early success in the 1940s and 1950s for his photographs taken during the Korean War, in Manhattan’s Bebop or in a hippie enclave in upstate New York. The contributions of friends, his partner and photography experts paint a portrait both intimate and critical of a maverick who was able to take a unique humanistic look at his time
Andy Dunn
Andy Dunn is a London-based documentary filmmaker. He began his career in the BBC’s Music Department by producing and directing shows on Elton John, Seasick Steve and Damon Albarn, as well as historical series on folk, punk and country music. Andy then opened up to other subjects with films on architecture, design, visual arts and travel. Passionate about photography, he frequently handles the cinematography of his films. It is no coincidence that his first independent documentary, «Last Stop Coney Island; The Life and Photography of Harold Feinstein», tells the story of a photographer. Today, Dunn directs films for the main British channels (BBC, ITV and Sky).
