Betty settles down behind her desk, hits the three keys and begins her story. She replays for us the creation of the world, of nature, of animals then enters into the heart of the subject and shows us the creation of the first man and the first woman of humanity: Adam and Lilith. Betty s’installe derrière son bureau, frappe les trois coups et débute son récit. Elle rejoue pour nous la création du monde, de la nature, des animaux puis entre au coeur du sujet et nous montre la création du premier homme et de la première femme de l’humanité : Adam et Lilith. Mais qui est Lilith ? On ne connaît que l’histoire d’Eve, créée à partir d’une côte d’Adam, et celle de la pomme et du péché originel. Mais Lilith a été complètement oubliée. Il était temps de la réhabiliter…
À la croisée du théâtre, du clown et du conte, Lilith est un spectacle inclassable où l’on croise une betterave, des fleurs en plastique, un stroboscope, une machine à fumée, une planche à découper et des pommes de terre. Entre autres.

Betty vestigt zich achter haar bureau, raakt de drie sleutels en begint haar verhaal. Ze herhaalt voor ons de schepping van de wereld, van de natuur, van dieren, komt dan in het hart van het onderwerp en toont ons de schepping van de eerste man en de eerste vrouw van de mensheid: Adam en Lilith. Maar wie is Lilith? We kennen alleen het verhaal van Eva, gemaakt uit een rib van Adam, en dat van de appel en de oorspronkelijke zonde. Maar Lilith was compleet vergeten. Het was tijd om haar te rehabiliteren...
Lilith ligt op het kruispunt van theater, clown en verhaallijn en is een niet te classificeren show waar je bieten, plastic bloemen, een stroboscoop, een rookmachine, een snijplank en aardappelen tegenkomt. Onder andere.
