After the Easter holidays, the school has two new students: Martin and Simon who quickly become inseparable. But one day, Martin stands out in football and becomes the most popular of the class. Simon does not know this popularity. He has no friends and Martin ends up following the advice of others, turning his back on Simon. It must be said that since Simon fell into the slush, Martin feels a certain shame: «Simon la Gadouille», a nickname that sticks to his skin like the mud of the pond. Then the two boys grow up and walk away... until one evening, Martin’s car stops at a fire and he notices something: then he remembers.
