Les Belles Sorties - Far in the sea - Sailly-lez-Lannoy
Celeste, a young mermaid, burns with an impossible flame for a prince she saved from a shipwreck. Consumed by the obsession of her face, she decides to leave her family and sacrifice her voice to a witch to have wife’s legs and a chance to be loved on the surface. Propelled into a world she does not know, uprooted, unable to communicate and reveal to the one she loves her story and her identity, the girl must find the way to the heart of the young man under pain of being changed into foam. Can we sacrifice everything for love? Can we forgive those who leave us?
