Science Village at the Science Forum in Villeneuve d'Ascq
An open, free and festive national event, the Science Festival is now the unmissable event for science enthusiasts! It is ten days of events, throughout metropolitan France, overseas and internationally, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, in connection with many actors of the French scientific and cultural landscape.
On the occasion of the Science Festival, the Science Forum invites you to discover the science village with its animations (plane sessions, creative and scientific workshops etc…) specially proposed in partnership with researchers, speakers, cultural actors.
The theme of this 28th edition is «Telling the science, imagining the future».
The Science Forum also co-organizes an evening event in partnership with Pint of Science as part of the Science Festival on Saturday, October 12 from 7pm.
The topic: How to «find planet B»? or should we better think about how to preserve the habitability of our planet Earth?! These are the issues discussed during the evening.
You will know everything about exoplanets, the conditions of their possible habitability but with an offbeat approach as knows so well do Pint of Science: not to consider as usual a possible extraterrestrial life but in a trip of the kind “What if we were to live there?”:
It is free on registration. There are still some places J
