Was wäre, wenn sich die Zeit fotografieren ließe?
Anlässlich der Europäischen Tage des Kulturerbes öffnet Ihnen die Gemeinde Vatierville die Türen ihrer Kirche mit dem einzigartigen anglo-normannischen Glockenturm aus dem 12. Jahrhundert, um in das Herz des Denkmals dieser Orte einzutauchen.
Die Ausstellung "Fotografieren der Zeit" bietet Ihnen eine Reise zwischen gestern und heute durch alte Fotografien des Dorfes und seiner Umgebung, verglichen mit zeitgenössischen Aufnahmen aus derselben Perspektive. Ein faszinierender Dialog zwischen den Epochen, der die Veränderungen der Landschaft und die Beständigkeit bestimmter Orientierungspunkte offenbart.
Alte Fotoapparate, die zwei Jahrhunderte der Erfindung und der Leidenschaft für das Bild zeugen, werden diese Entdeckung begleiten, zusammen mit einer Auswahl von Fotografien, die dem lokalen Erbe gewidmet sind.

What if time could be photographed?
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the town of Vatierville opens the doors of its church to the singular Anglo-Norman bell tower of the 12th century for an immersion in the heart of the memory of places.
The exhibition "Photographing time" offers a journey between yesterday and today through old photographs of the village and its surroundings, set against contemporary shots taken from the same point of view. A fascinating dialogue between the eras that reveals the transformations of the landscape and the permanence of certain landmarks.
Old cameras, witnesses of two centuries of inventions and passion for the image, will accompany this discovery, alongside a selection of photographs devoted to local heritage.
An exhibition that invites everyone to explore the history of the territory through the eyes of photographers from yesterday and today.

In occasione delle Giornate Europee del Patrimonio, il comune di Vatierville apre le porte della sua chiesa al singolare campanile anglo-normanno del XII secolo per un'immersione nel cuore della memoria dei luoghi.
L'esposizione "Fotografare il tempo" propone un viaggio tra ieri e oggi attraverso fotografie antiche del villaggio e dei suoi dintorni, messe a confronto con scatti contemporanei realizzati dallo stesso punto di vista. Un dialogo affascinante tra le epoche che rivela le trasformazioni del paesaggio e la permanenza di alcuni punti di riferimento.
Macchine fotografiche antiche, testimoni di due secoli di invenzioni e passione per l'immagine, accompagneranno questa scoperta, insieme a una selezione di fotografie dedicate al patrimonio locale.
