Es scheint, dass der Sohn von Geoffroy Fulcrade im Jahr 1106, als er die Kirche vom Schloss zum Ufer der Loire (St. Aubin) verlegte, in der Nähe eine zweite Priesterin im Süden unter dem Namen des Heiligen Macé gegründet hätte. Wir wissen nur wenig über die Geschichte des Prieuré außer den Namen einiger Prioren.
In St. Macé hatten die Mönche einen friedlichen Ort und eine wunderbare Aussicht auf die Umgebung. Ein paar kaputte Wände erinnern an ein Kloster. Die Kapelle mit dem Seiteneingang hingegen ist ein wahres Juwel. Die Veranda aus zwei Bögen, die von Säulen mit bearbeiteten Zelten gestützt wird, beeindruckt den Besucher.
Im Inneren der Kapelle, die vollständig bemalt war, bleiben die schönen Illustrationen des 13. Jahrhunderts erhalten, die zur Bekanntheit der Priesterschaft beitragen. Das als historisches Denkmal eingestufte Priestertum ist heute ein Privateigentum, das bei den Europäischen Kulturtagen besichtigt werden kann.

It seems that the son of Geoffroy Fulcrade in 1106, while he transferred the church of the castle to the banks of the Loire (St Aubin), would have founded, not far from there, a second priory to the south on the hillside, under the name of Saint Macé. Little is known about the history of the priory other than the names of some priors.
In St Macé, the monks enjoyed a peaceful place and a wonderful view of the surroundings. There is almost nothing left of the priory. Some ruined walls evoke a cloister. On the other hand, the chapel with its side entrance is a real gem. The porch formed by two arches supported by columns with elaborate capitals impresses the visitor.
Inside, the chapel, which was entirely painted, still preserves these beautiful illustrations of the twelfth century that contribute to the notoriety of the priory. The priory, classified as a historical monument, is now a private property that can be visited during European Heritage Days.

Sembra che il figlio di Geoffroy Fulcrade nel 1106, mentre trasferiva la chiesa dal castello alla riva della Loira (St Aubin), avrebbe fondato, non lontano, un secondo priorato a sud sulla collina, sotto il nome di san Macé. Poco si sa della storia del priorato, a parte i nomi di alcuni Presidenti.
A Saint Macé, i monaci godevano di un luogo tranquillo e di una vista meravigliosa sui dintorni. Non rimane quasi nulla del priorato. Alcune pareti rovinate evocano un chiostro. Invece, la cappella con il suo ingresso laterale è un vero gioiello. Il portico formato da due archi sostenuti da colonne a capitelli lavorati impressiona il visitatore.
All'interno, la cappella, che era interamente dipinta, conserva ancora queste belle illustrazioni del XII secolo che contribuiscono alla notorietà del priorato. Il priorato, dichiarato monumento storico, è oggi una proprietà privata visitabile durante le giornate europee del patrimonio.

Il semble que le fils de Geoffroy Fulcrade en 1106, alors qu’il transférait l’église du château au bord de la Loire (St Aubin), aurait fondé, non loin de là, un deuxième prieuré au sud sur le coteau, sous le nom de saint Macé. On sait peu de chose sur l’histoire du prieuré en dehors des noms de quelques prieurs.
A St Macé, les moines profitaient d’un lieu paisible et d’ une vue merveilleuse sur les alentours. Il ne reste presque plus rien du prieuré. Quelques murs ruinés évoquent un cloître. En revanche, la chapelle avec son entrée latérale est un vrai joyau. Le porche formé de deux arches soutenues par des colonnes à chapiteaux ouvragés impressionne le visiteur.
A l’intérieur, la chapelle qui était entièrement peinte, conserve encore de ces belles illustrations du XIIe siècle qui contribuent à la notoriété du prieuré. Le prieuré, classé monument historique, est aujourd’hui une propriété privée visitable lors des journées européennes du patrimoine.

Parece que el hijo de Geoffroy Fulcrade en 1106, cuando trasladaba la iglesia del castillo al borde del Loira (St Aubin), fundó, no lejos de allí, un segundo priorato al sur en la colina, bajo el nombre de Saint Macé. Poco se sabe de la historia del priorato, aparte de los nombres de algunos Priores.
En St. Macé, los monjes disfrutaban de un lugar tranquilo y de una maravillosa vista de los alrededores. Algunas paredes arruinadas evocan un claustro. En cambio, la capilla con su entrada lateral es una verdadera joya. El pórtico formado por dos arcos sostenidos por columnas con capiteles labrados impresiona al visitante.
En el interior, la capilla, que estaba totalmente pintada, conserva todavía estas bellas ilustraciones del siglo XII que contribuyen a la notoriedad del priorato. El priorato, declarado monumento histórico, es hoy una Propiedad privada visitable durante las Jornadas Europeas del Patrimonio.
