DIE ORGEL, LEBENDIGES ERBE UND SPORTINSTRUMENT
Die Kirche Saint-Firmin in Firminy wurde 1860 fertiggestellt und ist das Werk des Architekten Tony DESJARDINS. Dieses Gebäude im neugotischen Stil ist durch seine Homogenität ein authentisches Zeugnis des regionalen architektonischen Erbes des 19. Jahrhunderts, insbesondere durch seine Anordnung mit liturgischen Möbeln (Kanzel, Altäre, Holzvertäfelungen, Große Orgel), die perfekt harmonieren.
Entdecken Sie eine große historische Orgel
Anlässlich der Europäischen Tage des Kulturerbes 2023, Sonntag, 17. September 2023, von 15.00 bis 18.00 Uhr, wird es möglich sein, die Große Orgel der Kirche, ein lebendiges Erbe und ein Sportinstrument, mit einem Besuch des Instruments zu entdecken. Die Tour wird in kleinen Gruppen von der Tribüne aus organisiert, mit einer Präsentation der verschiedenen Spiele und Klänge, der verschiedenen Pfeifenfamilien und der Möglichkeit, in die Orgel zu gehen und das Instrument zu spielen. Die Stücke werden vom Organisten Pierre Astor aufgeführt.
Die Grand Orgue Charles Michel-Merklin von Saint-Firmin besteht aus 30 Spielen, die auf 2 Keyboards und 1 Pedalboard verteilt sind. Erbaut zwischen 1802 und 1805, ist es ein Meisterwerk sowohl in akustischer als auch in mechanischer Hinsicht, eingetragen in das zusätzliche Inventar der historischen Denkmäler. Während viele Instrumente im Laufe der Zeit umgebaut wurden, behält das Instrument von Saint-Firmin seine ursprünglichen Merkmale, wie die Orgeln am Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts konzipiert wurden. Es ist das bevorzugte Instrument des romantischen organistischen Repertoires des 19. Jahrhunderts.

THE ORGAN, LIVING HERITAGE AND SPORTS INSTRUMENT
The church of Saint-Firmin de Firminy, completed in 1860, is the work of the architect Tony DESJARDINS. This neo-Gothic building is by its homogeneity an authentic witness of the regional architectural heritage nineteenth century, especially by its provisions with liturgical furniture (pulpit, altars, woodwork, Grand Orgue) that harmonize perfectly.
DISCOVER A GREAT ORGAN HISTORICAL MONUMENT
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days 2023, Sunday, September 17, 2023, from 3pm to 6pm, it will be possible to discover the Great Organ of the church, a living heritage and a sports instrument, with a visit of the instrument. The visit will be orchestrated in small groups from the gallery with a presentation of the different stops and different sounds, different families of pipes, and the possibility to go inside the organ and play the instrument. Pieces will be performed by Pierre Astor, organist.
The Grand Orgue Charles Michel-Merklin de Saint-Firmin includes 30 stops spread over 2 manuals and 1 pedal. Built between 1802 and 1805, it is a masterpiece both from a sound and mechanical point of view, registered in the additional inventory of Historical Monuments. While many instruments have been transformed over time, the Saint-Firmin organ retains its original characteristics, as designed at the end of the 19th century. It is the instrument of choice for the romantic organist repertoire of the 19th century.

La chiesa di Saint-Firmin di Firminy, completata nel 1860, è opera dell'architetto Tony DESJARDINS. Questo edificio in stile neogotico è per la sua omogeneità una testimonianza autentica del patrimonio architettonico regionale del XIX secolo, in particolare per le sue disposizioni con arredi liturgici (pulpito, altari, boiserie, Grand Orgue) che si armonizzano perfettamente.
SCOPRIRE UN GRANDE ORGANO MONUMENTALE
In occasione delle Giornate Europee del Patrimonio 2023, domenica 17 settembre 2023, dalle 15 alle 18, sarà possibile scoprire il Grande Organo della chiesa, un patrimonio vivente e uno strumento sportivo**,** con una visita dello strumento. La visita si orchestrerà in piccoli gruppi dalla tribuna con una presentazione dei diversi giochi e delle diverse sonorità, delle diverse famiglie di canne, e la possibilità di entrare all'interno dell'organo e suonare lo strumento. Le opere saranno interpretate da Pierre Astor, organista.
Il Grand Orgue Charles Michel-Merklin di Saint-Firmin comprende 30 giochi distribuiti su 2 tastiere e 1 guarnitura. Costruito tra il 1802 e il 1805, è un capolavoro sia dal punto di vista sonoro che meccanico, inserito nell'inventario supplementare dei Monumenti Storici. Mentre molti strumenti sono stati oggetto di trasformazioni nel corso del tempo, quello di Saint-Firmin conserva integralmente le sue caratteristiche originali, così come si concepivano gli organi alla fine del XIX secolo. È lo strumento prediletto del repertorio romantico organistico del XIX secolo.

A l'occasion des Journées Européennes du Patrimoine 2023, Dimanche 17 septembre 2023, de 15h à 18h, il sera possible de découvrir le Grand Orgue de l'église, un patrimoine vivant et un instrument sportif, avec une visite de l'instrument. La visite s'orchestrera par petits groupes depuis la tribune avec une présentation des différents jeux et des différentes sonorités, des différentes familles de tuyaux, et la possibilité de rentrer à l'intérieur de l'orgue et de jouer l'instrument. Des pièces seront interprétées par Pierre Astor, organiste.

Construit entre 1802 et 1805, il est un chef d'œuvre tant d'un point de vue sonore que mécanique, inscrit à l'inventaire supplémentaire des Monuments Historiques. Alors que beaucoup d'instruments ont fait l'objet de transformations au cours du temps, celui de Saint-Firmin conserve intégralement ses caractéristiques d'origine, tel que l'on concevait les orgues à la fin du XIXème siècle. Il est l'instrument de prédilection du répertoire romantique organistique du XIXème siècle.

La iglesia de San Firmín de Firminy, terminada en 1860, es obra del arquitecto Tony DESJARDINS. Este edificio de estilo neogótico es por su homogéneneneidad un auténtico testimonio del patrimonio arquitectónico regional del siglo XIX, especialmente por sus disposiciones con un mobiliario litúrgico (púlpito, altares, carpintería, Gran Órgano) que armonizan perfectamente.
DESCUBRIR UN GRAN ÓRGANO MONUMENTO HISTÓRICO
Con motivo de las Jornadas Europeas de Patrimonio 2023, domingo 17 de septiembre de 2023, de 15h a 18h, será posible descubrir el Gran Órgano de la iglesia, un patrimonio vivo y un instrumento deportivo, con una visita del instrumento. La visita se organizará en pequeños grupos desde la tribuna con una presentación de los diferentes juegos y sonidos, de las diferentes familias de tubos, y la posibilidad de entrar en el órgano y tocar el instrumento. Las piezas serán interpretadas por Pierre Astor, organista.
El Grand Orgue Charles Michel-Merklin de Saint-Firmin incluye 30 juegos repartidos en 2 teclados y 1 pedalera. Construido entre 1802 y 1805, es una obra maestra tanto desde el punto de vista sonoro como mecánico, inscrito en el inventario suplementario de los Monumentos Históricos. Mientras que muchos instrumentos han sido objeto de transformaciones a lo largo del tiempo, el de Saint-Firmin conserva íntegramente sus características originales, tal como se concebían los órganos a finales del siglo XIX. Es el instrumento predilecto del repertorio romántico organistico del siglo XIX.
