Das Hotel Saint-Mart öffnet seine Türen zum ersten Mal zu Beginn des Zweiten Kaiserreichs (1853). Das Hotel befindet sich in der Nähe des neuen Thermalbads von Royat-Chamalières und hofft, von der Ankunft reicher mondäner Badegäste profitieren zu können.
Seit fast 170 Jahren - in Frankreich selten - haben fünf Generationen derselben Familie dieses Wahrzeichen der Gemeinde geführt.

The Hotel Saint-Mart opened its doors to the public for the first time at the very beginning of the Second Empire (1853). Located near the new thermal establishment of Royat-Chamalières then under construction, the hotel building hopes to take advantage of the arrival of rich worldly bathers.

Desde hace casi 170 años - hecho raro en Francia - cinco generaciones de una misma familia se han sucedido a la cabeza de este emblema de la comuna.
