Was macht man am Observatorium? Was kann man mit einem Teleskop sehen? Kann man außer Sternen am Himmel etwas anderes sehen? Warum sieht der Große Bär aus wie ein Topf?
Das Observatorium von Lyon bietet dem Publikum einen astronomischen Abend. Sie beginnt bei Einbruch der Dunkelheit mit zwei Vorträgen nach Wahl: eine von einer Forscherin des Zentrums für astrophysikalische Forschung in Lyon über die Lichtverschmutzung und ihre Auswirkungen; Die andere ist für Neulinge, die entdecken können, was am Nachthimmel zu sehen ist. Je nach Wolkendecke können die Besucher dann die Sterne mit Hilfe der Instrumente des Observatoriums und der Astronomischen Gesellschaft von Lyon beobachten oder (wenn das Wetter bedeckt ist) eine historische und wissenschaftliche Tour des Observatoriums machen und an Workshops teilnehmen. Es gibt auch Animationen für Kinder, unabhängig von der Wolkendecke.
Bei sehr schlechtem Wetter kann der Abend abgesagt werden.

What do we do at the observatory? What can we see with a telescope? Can we see anything but stars in the sky? Why does the Big Dipper look like a pot?
The Lyon Observatory offers the public an astronomical evening. It will begin at nightfall with two conferences to choose from: one given by a researcher from the Centre de recherche astrophysique de Lyon on light pollution and its impacts; the other for beginners who can discover what can be observed in the night sky. Then, depending on the cloud cover, visitors can observe the stars using the instruments of the observatory and the Astronomical Society of Lyon or (if the weather is cloudy) make a historical and scientific visit of the observatory and participate in workshops. Animations are also offered to children, regardless of the cloud cover.
In case of very bad weather, the evening can be cancelled.

L'osservatorio di Lione propone al pubblico una serata astronomica. Inizierà al calar della notte con due conferenze a scelta: una da una ricercatrice del Centro di ricerca astrofisica di Lione sull'inquinamento luminoso e i suoi impatti; l'altro per i neofiti che potranno scoprire cosa si può osservare nel cielo notturno. Poi, a seconda della copertura nuvolosa, i visitatori potranno osservare gli astri grazie agli strumenti dell'osservatorio e della Società astronomica di Lione o (se il tempo è nuvoloso) fare una visita storica e scientifica dell'osservatorio e partecipare a workshop. Le animazioni sono offerte anche ai bambini, indipendentemente dalla copertura nuvolosa.
In caso di maltempo, la serata può essere annullata.

L'observatoire de Lyon propose au public une soirée astronomique. Elle débutera à la tombée de la nuit par deux conférences au choix : l'une donnée par une chercheuse du Centre de recherche astrophysique de Lyon sur la pollution lumineuse et ses impacts ; l'autre pour les néophytes qui pourront découvrir ce que l'on peut observer dans le ciel nocturne. Puis en fonction de la couverture nuageuse, les visiteurs pourront observer les astres grâce aux instruments de l'observatoire et de la Société astronomique de Lyon ou (si le temps est couvert) faire une visite historique et scientifique de l'observatoire et participer à des ateliers. Des animations sont également proposées aux enfants, peu importe la couverture nuageuse.
En cas de très mauvais temps, la soirée peut être annulée.

El observatorio de Lyon ofrece al público una velada astronómica. Comenzará al caer la noche con dos conferencias a elegir: una dada por una investigadora del Centro de Investigación Astrofísica de Lyon sobre la contaminación lumínica y sus impactos; el otro para los neófitos que podrán descubrir lo que se puede observar en el cielo nocturno. Luego, en función de la cubierta de nubes, los visitantes podrán observar los astros gracias a los instrumentos del observatorio y de la Sociedad Astronómica de Lyon o (si el tiempo está cubierto) hacer una visita histórica y científica del observatorio y participar en talleres. También se ofrecen animaciones a los niños, independientemente de la cubierta de nubes.
En caso de muy mal tiempo, la noche puede ser cancelada.
