Der Bach Brioux entspringt dem Cormatinois-Teich, überquert den Etang du Troncy, speist das alte Bief der alten Mühle, bevor er weiter östlich Besançon erreicht. Der Brioux und andere Quellen sind der Ursprung eines kleinen Erbes von Interesse, darunter vier Waschhäuser (Bourg, Lancharre, Gemaugue und Bessuge), Brunnen und viele Brunnen, die über das gesamte Chapaizien-Gebiet verstreut sind.

The stream Brioux takes its source towards the pond of the Cormatinois, crosses the pond of Troncy, feeds the old reach of the old mill before reaching further east the Besançon. Brioux and other sources are at the origin of a small heritage worthy of interest, including four wash houses (Bourg, Lancharre, Gemaugue and Bessuge), fountains and many wells scattered throughout the territory of Chapaizien.
