In addition to the national ANDOR event, EUGLOH proposes a 2-day satellite event on 3-4 December, named “EUGLOH Research Data Days”.

Passato

Université Paris-Saclay, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESR) will host the second edition of French National Research Data Conference (ANDOR, in French; please visit “https://andor2024.sciencesconf.org/” to know more about the previous edition) on 1-2 December 2025.
In addition to the national ANDOR event, EUGLOH proposes a 2-day satellite event from 3-4 December (named “EUGLOH Research Data Days”) with the following points in mind:
· Connection with WP3 and WP6 of EUGLOH, co-organised jointly by Université Paris-Saclay and UiT – The Arctic University of Norway
· The importance of “open and free data and transparency of scientific results” in the EUGLOH (as well as in the international) context
· On-site event, with mobility opportunities for Masters/PhD candidates/early-stage researchers
· The aim of this event is to raise the profile of open data/open science policy within the EUGLOH alliance, while highlighting our bilateral collaboration with the colleagues from UiT regarding an online course on Research Data Management (or “Data Stewardship”).
This event is particularly aimed to give EUGLOH Masters/PhD candidates an opportunity to come to France:
1. Firstly, to have a cross-domain networking for them within the alliance (for example, by visiting the research labs scheduled for Wednesday the 3rd, Dec 2025)
2. Secondly, they will have a possibility to do presentations of their work and thesis and talk about data sharing issues and challenges. And in this occasion, we could take this opportunity to organize a research data workshop on site in Université Paris-Saclay during a whole day with the EUGLOH students. They will take this possibility to participate on some data workshops and get the first-hand knowledge on open research products (publications, data, software, methods, protocols, etc.)

L'Université Paris-Saclay, en collaboration avec le Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche (MESR), accueillera la deuxième édition des Assises Nationales des Données de la Recherche (ANDOR, veuillez consulter "https://andor2024.sciencesconf.org/" pour en savoir plus sur l'édition précédente) les 1 et 2 décembre 2025.
En plus de l'événement national ANDOR, EUGLOH propose un événement satellite de 2 jours les 3 et 4 décembre (intitulé "EUGLOH Research Data Days") avec les points suivants à l'esprit :
· Connexion avec le WP3 et le WP6 de EUGLOH, co-organisé conjointement par l'Université Paris-Saclay et UiT – L'Université Arctique de Norvège
· l'importance des "données ouvertes et libres et de la transparence des résultats scientifiques" dans le contexte d'EUGLOH (ainsi qu'au niveau international)
· Événement sur site, avec des opportunités de mobilité pour les candidats Masters/Doctorat/chercheurs en début de carrière
· L'objectif de cet événement est de rehausser le profil de la politique de données ouvertes/science ouverte au sein de l'alliance EUGLOH, tout en mettant en lumière notre collaboration bilatérale avec les collègues d'UiT concernant un cours en ligne sur la Gestion des Données de Recherche (ou "Data Stewardship").

Cet événement vise particulièrement à donner aux candidats Masters/Doctorat d'EUGLOH l'opportunité de venir en France :
1. Premièrement, pour leur offrir un réseautage interdisciplinaire au sein de l'alliance (par exemple, en visitant les laboratoires de recherche prévus pour le mercredi 3 décembre 2025)
2. Deuxièmement, ils auront la possibilité de faire des présentations de leurs travaux et thèses et de discuter des enjeux et défis du partage de données. Et à cette occasion, nous pourrions saisir cette opportunité pour organiser un atelier sur les données de recherche sur site à l'Université Paris-Saclay pendant une journée entière avec les étudiants EUGLOH. Ils profiteront de cette possibilité pour participer à des ateliers sur les données et obtenir des connaissances de première main sur les produits de recherche ouverts (publications, données, logiciels, méthodes, protocoles, etc.)
