A suite of ten piano pieces linked by "promenades"—composed by Modest Mussorgsky and inspired by paintings by Victor Hartmann—this work has enjoyed immense success and spawned numerous arrangements. The performance will feature the version for piano four-hands, transcribed by Bruno Rossignol.
Inspired by paintings by Auguste Renoir, Jean Françaix’s *Quinze portraits d’enfants d’Auguste Renoir* (Fifteen Portraits of Children by Auguste Renoir) is dedicated to the composer’s two young daughters, Sophie and Christine.
Written specifically for this performance, the text will invite the audience into an imaginary museum…

Suite de dix pièces pour piano reliées par des “promenades”, écrite par Modest Mussorgsky d’après des tableaux du peintre Victor Hartmann, l’œuvre a connu un énorme succès et a fait objet de nombreux arrangements. Ce sera la version pour piano à 4 mains, transcrite par Bruno Rossignol qui sera interprétée.
Inspirés par des tableaux d’Auguste Renoir, les Quinze portraits d’enfants d’Auguste Renoir de Jean Françaix sont dédiée aux deux petites filles du compositeur, Sophie et Christine.
Écrit pour ce spectacle, le texte invitera le spectateur dans un musée imaginaire…
